Every member of our team is professional and well trained. We conduct a thorough screening and interviewing process to identify the best home care providers, and only those who pass this process go on to complete training to deliver our special brand of home care and become Comfort Keepers® home care providers. What truly sets our people apart, though, is their natural gift for caring for others. 

All Comfort Keepers home care providers pass extensive background checks and complete continuing education. They are bonded, insured and covered by workers' compensation insurance to protect our clients and their families.

Marcia Stinson

Owner

Marcia serves as the Operations Director and works with the staff on a daily basis to coordinate client care.  She also manages the day-to-day operations of Comfort Keepers. 

Marcia has served as Secretary and Treasurer of the Coalition on Aging in Savannah, President of the Small Business Chamber, Board Member of the Chatham Commerce Club and other activities related to senior care.

She spent 30 years as a customer service professional in her previous career, rising to Vice President of Client Services for a Midwestern company that served over 200 Fortune 500 companies. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Education from Western Illinois University.

Greg Stinson

Owner

As Marketing Director, Greg oversees the marketing and advertising of Comfort Keepers, making people in the Savannah area aware of its beneficial services.  Before starting with Comfort Keepers, Greg had been the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing  for a major Midwestern company and then President and General Manager of one of the same company’s division.

Greg was formerly co-chair of the Alzheimer’s Memory Walk in Savannah and is a member of the Coalition on Aging, Past President of the Kiwanis Club of Skidaway Island.  He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Eastern Illinois University in Business Marketing.  After having three of four grandparents live into their 90s and an ill father who lived 1,200 miles away Greg decided to start a business where he could help families deal with the issues of aging in an organized way.      

Nancy Neff

Vice President of Sales

Nancy is the Vice President of Sales and works with individuals and institutions to ensure a fit between the services of Comfort Keepers and the prospective clients' needs. She spends a lot of her time with clients and facilities that utilize or can benefit from Comfort Keepers. 

Nancy has spent most of her career in the Home Health industry.  She started an agency for a major home health company here in Savannah.  When that company was sold to another local company she worked for them for 12 years before joining Comfort Keepers.

She attended Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pennsylvania.  

Lisa Harrison

Staff Scheduling Coordinator, CNA

Lisa has one of the most important jobs with Comfort Keepers.  Her knowledge of client needs and our staff availability and capability is critical in maintaining the high level of client satisfaction that we strive for at Comfort Keepers.  Lisa works diligently to match our clients’ needs and staff up to ensure that every interaction our clients have with Comfort Keepers is positive and productive.

Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Savannah State University and is a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant with the State of Georgia Department of Health and Human Services.  

Ciera Pope

Human Resources Manager

Ciera Pope joined the Comfort Keepers’ Team in May of 2015 as our Human Resources Manager. She originally hails from Colorado Springs, CO and brings 6 years of Human Resources’ Management experience; having worked in that capacity in both the construction and oil industries. Ciera recently married Andrew, a career Army officer stationed at Fort Stewart. She is working on a Bachelors’ degree in Human Resources Management and states her goal as “helping Comfort Keepers continue to field the best staff of client caregivers available in Savannah”. She is doing a great job of attaining that goal!

Amanda Walsh

Administrative Assistant

Amanda, “Mandy” keeps our office running smoothly.  She helps with scheduling, oversees office functions and is our insurance that both our staff client’s schedules match up.  She is a lifelong Savannah resident and has worked in the medical arena for much of her career.    

Lisa Byrd

Registered Nurse

Lisa oversees initial and ongoing client health assessments and works with our staff in the management of Comfort Keepers' quality control program.  Lisa also works with the entire Comfort Keepers management team to ensure that the staff members assigned to each of our clients is a good fit in both personality and skill sets.  Lisa received her R.N. from Armstrong Atlantic University.
