Comfort Keepers Senior Care

Learn more about our highly qualified senior care team.

For most seniors, few things are more important than maintaining their independence, including staying in their own homes.  For twelve years, Comfort Keepers has been providing the very highest quality of senior care available in Savannah and the surrounding communities.  Our staff of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Personal Care Aids (PCAs) help Comfort Keepers provide the same level of in-home care that we would expect for our own family members.

Our employees, known as Comfort Keepers, are carefully screened - including background checks - trained, bonded and insured.  These employees receive training on safe patient transfers, bathing, and toileting issues.  They also provide meal preparation, incidental transportation, light housekeeping, and laundry; the Activities of Daily Living necessary for our clients to stay safely in their homes.  Our agency is licensed by the State of Georgia to provide Senior Care.

Marcia and Greg Stinson started Comfort Keepers with the thought of providing superior customer service for those clients that want in-home care so they can remain in familiar surroundings.  Senior Care is a passion of the Stinson’s as they both had parents and grandparents needing similar care and they realized how hard it was to find someone, other than family members, that was reliable, trustworthy, and caring.  Having both been a part of the customer service industry for decades they felt that Comfort Keepers was an opportunity to serve others and offer customer service that often is missing in today’s senior care.

Here is what a couple of our clients say about our dedicated staff:

Marcia and Greg:  I can’t tell you how happy I was with the care that Comfort Keepers gave to my Mom from the very beginning.  Marcia spent time with my Mom to understand her personality … so she was able to send caregivers best suited for my Mom.  During the entire six months we had daily care givers… none of them were ever late and there was never a no-show.  I can’t say enough about Marcia and her team and know that she will be the first person we call if we ever need care again.

Best regards,

Karen, Savannah

About two years ago when my wife’s Parkinson’s disease began to be quite disabling it became apparent that for her comfort and safety I would need some form of home support service.  Comfort Keepers met this need, at first on a limited schedule, and then by providing excellent 24-hour home care.  All of the care-givers were professional, compassionate and dedicated individuals.  Scheduling and administrative management could not have been better.  Living through the progressive disability and loss of a loved one is a wrenching experience.  The terrific services provided by Comfort Keepers played a huge role in making a difficult situation more tolerable for both my wife and me.  I can’t thank them enough.

Tom, Savannah
